Software is used in more and more homes and the average user's level of technical sophistication is dropping. Meanwhile, technology advances at such a pace that the user is always contending with more features and more complexity.

Our work in user interface design ranges from the non-technical computer user (the majority of consumers) to sophisticated expert users. In all cases we strive to make the user experience rich by aiming for simplicity.

Spiraco Balances Form and Function. While traditional HCI firms may offer exceptional information design and research, they are not usually equipped to provide visual solutions. In the same way, traditional graphic design studios that may be adept at creating imagery may miss the mark on information design.

Our designers come from diverse backgrounds that blend art and technology, form and function. Spiraco is able to create solutions that meet the needs of Engineering and Marketing departments.

Design = Concept + Functionality + Branding. In user interface design, functionality is king. We refine the governing information architecture to create an order system centered around ease of use and smart information management.

But we don't stop there. Crafting a unique identity for your application will help it stand apart from the competition. To do this we explore metaphors and create a concept model for the software based on what it does and who is going to be using it. Then, using existing corporate identity (or in some cases creating a new one), we design graphics that support the metaphor.
